Some people say, "she always looks so pulled together!" Well, you may think you look that way, but if you try to wear open toe shoes (which are really considered sandals to some people) to an interview, that is sometimes frowned upon by upper management. An elegant pair of closed toe heels would substitute well, and still show that you are feminine. Keeping your heel in between 2 1/2 to 4 inches should be appropriate. Anything over four inches is just asking for trouble, especially for that first impression. Another not so smart idea is to wear thick platforms to the work place. This is a growing epidemic happening all over the country. The platform on the Janae by Rockport (featured below) is more subdued looking. A hidden platform would work as well. Another thing to consider is comfort. A heel with a slight platform will ease the pressure off of the ball of your foot, allowing for a more comfortable stride.

Dressing for an interview does not have to be that complicated. With a little know how, and trial and error while looking at yourself in the mirror of course, you will shine your brightest and land that job! Ladies, give them security, while still begging for more, with your new pair of Rockport shoes.
